VIENNA – Carolene Brown Hudson, 85, passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 21, 2021, at Coliseum Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Dooly County. Due to the Covid pandemic, seating is limited, masks are required, and social distancing should be maintained.

Mrs. Hudson was born in Worth County, Ga. to Walter Lee and Johnnie Lee Gleaton Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Eugene Hudson.

She was a faithful and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class for over 40 years. She was a homemaker and was dedicated to truly providing a home for her family.

She is survived by her children: Edwin Hudson and his wife Vivian, Melvin Hudson and his wife Vickie, Karen Smith and her husband Shaun, and Bonnie Hauesler and her husband Marvin all of Vienna, Ga.; her sister: Mereda Messarra and her husband Tony of Friendswood, Tex.; her grandchildren: Derrick Smith and his wife Carrilee, Alicia Kahtava and her husband Travis, Dakota Hauesler and his wife Emily, Alexis Hudson, Ashlyn Hudson and Elana Hudson; and her great-grandchildren: Lila Smith, Landon Smith and Rhett Smith.
