Roy Gene Fowler, of Anderson, born on October 31, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA died of cancer on the morning of May 7, 2009 while surrounded by his loving family. Roy is survived by wife Marilyn Fowler, son Matt and wife Ginger Fowler, daughter Melanie and husband Denny Janeway, daughter Katie Fowler, four stepchildren, and 11 grandchildren; siblings Mona Watkins, Adel McLeod, Louvina Bennett, and Simma Williams. Preceded in death are Roy's parents Gavin and Elsie Fowler as well as siblings Sandra Howard, Vaughn Fowler and Nadine Radcliff.
