"William Brown came from Ireland when a young man, and was married near Ontario, Canada, to Miss Melvina Thomas. He lived for a time in that locality and was engaged in farming, but afterward was connected with a tobacco factory in Philadelphia. He died near Toronto, about 1850, aged fifty years."
