Daughter of Wesley Dow Allen and Malissa Jane White. She married George Wilson Johnston January 14th 1897. She had either 10 or 11 children. She is the granddaughter of Major John Braxton Allen and Elizabeth Herod. Her father Wesley Dow Allen and mother Melissa Jane (White) Allen are buried at Coila cemetery, Mississippi. Some of her brother's are at Coila as well. Ida Eugenia (Allen) Johnston is the great granddaughter of William H. Allen who is buried at Spoirles Cemetery, Mississippi. She is the great great granddaughter of Richard R. Allen and Mary (Braxton) Allen both died in Madison County, Mississippi.

10. Myra JOHNSTON, b. 1917, Carroll County, MS. Never married Myra is buried with her parents at Drew Cemetery.
In the 1910 Carroll County census there is a Thomas Johnston listed as Son. I believe Thomas is George Wilson Johnston's nephew.
