Victim of Murder
Presumed killed in her home on Rock Road, Glen Gardner, kept in the chicken house before being left in an abandoned mine at Mine Hill, Oxford, NJ with her possessions in burlap bags.
Suspect, her husband, Frank Thomas who then committed suicide by hanging 30 Oct 1924 in the Belvidere, NJ jail; then suspected Steve Ryan.

Noted that there weren't many people at her funeral service, none of her (ex?) husband, Frank Thomas's family & less than 20 of her own family, "although that family is numerous and scattered all over the surrounding country."
Pallbearers: noted that there weren't enough family to carry & had to be assisted with the church sexton (gravedigger) & a former boarder, Neb Beam (no relation).
