CHARLES P. HANKINS
Charles P. Hankins, 85 years old, who was stricken two weeks ago at his Pearl Street home, near Oakhurst, died this morning at 2 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Sunday from the Hankins home on Pearl Street at 2 p.m., Rev. William Disbrow, pastor Of the Oakhurst Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be made at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch, in charge of Director Clifton L. Morris.
Mr. Hankins was a carpenter by trade and was born at Freehold. He had lived at Oakhurst for the past 40 years. His wife died in 1899, and a son, George Hankins, died 12 years ago. The surviving son is Benjamin H. Hankins, the Elberon electrician.
