Hugh Bo Bandy of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 18, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet L Bandy of 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James C Bandy and Wilma A Bandy, Brother – Leon Bandy, Nephew – Bradley Campbell, Mother-in-law/Father-in-law, Leona/ Clifford Elliott, Brother- in- law/Sister- in - law Jeanne/ Morgan Robertson.
He was the loving father of Chris (fiancée’) Keira McEntire of Heber City Utah and Selina (Mark) Mayfield of Cleveland Tn, Grand children – Joey ( wife Maddie) Mayfield, Jeremy Mayfield and Jessica Mayfield (“precious”). Siblings: Judy (Charles) Curtis of Marietta GA, Bill (Linda) Bandy of wolf creek of Murphy NC, Ed Bandy of Cleveland Tn, Carol (Mike) Campbell of Blue Ridge GA. Six nieces/nephews: Stacey Brown, Eric Curtis, Jerry Bandy, Susan B Guess, Beth Whitener, Jason Bandy and ten great nieces/nephews four great great nieces/nephews.
Also Janet’s caring family, sister-in-law – Anne Cunningham ( spouse Max Cunningham) and brothers in-law – Eddie, Ray (spouse Brenda) and Sam Elliott; and many nieces and nephews. And longtime dear friend Greta Parker.

Bo was born in Copperhill, Tn on May 4, 1951. He played basketball and drove the school bus while at Hiawassee Dam High School. He went to University of North Carolina at Ashville for a year, he regretted not finishing. Bo was a meticulous truck driver for 47 years. His work ethic always included leaving one hour ahead of schedule and always driving safely. He loved his fur babies. Bo was an ever present and
involved member of Cleveland Church of the Nazarene, where he served in many positions.

The family will receive friends from 2:30pm until 5:00pm on Sunday February 21, 2021 at The Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 5:00pm at the church.

Bo will forever remain an ever present figure in the lives of his loving family and friends.
