Robert W. Vogel, Sr., 61, of 1105 Springview Dr., Okolona, died Saturday at his home.
He was a retired chemical operator.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Louise Hayden Vogel; two sons, Robert W. Vogel Jr., and Charles F. Vogel; five daughters, Mrs. Peggy Casey, Mrs. Wanda Jones, Mrs. Cathy Golway, Mrs. Missy Raymer, and Miss Lynn Vogel and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway, with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. The body will be at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral home, 8519 Preston Highway after 3 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Rita All Purpose Building Fund, or St. Mary's Church, Marysville.

Mr. Vogel is resting at the Okolona Home of Arch L. Heady and Son, 8519 Preston Hgwy., where services will be conducted Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., and 10 a.m. at St. Rita Church. Entombment Resthaven Mausoleum. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Rita All Purpose Building Fund, or St. Mary Church, Maryville.

Bob was the son of the late Charles Martin and Anna Barbara (Hambrick) Vogel. He married Emma Louise Hayden on Sep. 14, 1937. He retired from Ralston Purina in Louisville, KY after many years of service. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Louise, in 1943.
