"Services for Caroline E. Budde, 91, Route 7, Mankato, Belgrade Township, Nicollet County, who died this morning, Jan. 29, 1988, at Hillcrest Health Care Center where she has been a resident since Sept. 28, 1984, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Evangelical Covenant Church in North Mankato, the Rev. James Dinsmore officiating. Burial will be in Kern's Oak Grove Cemetery in rural North Mankato.
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour before services on Monday. If preferred, memorials may be given to the donor's choice or the Mission Fund of Evangelical Covenant Church. Funeral arrangements were handled by Mankato Mortuary.
Mrs. Budde was born in Deerfield, ILL., Aug. 16, 1896, to John and Caroline Fritsch. She married Ben Budde, Aug. 30, 1928, in Huntley, ILL. They farmed in the Mankato area and she was a homemaker. She was an active member of Evangelical Covenant Church.
She was survived by a sister, Lillian Fritsch of Northbrook, ILL.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1976; and two sisters and two brothers."
