Benjamin F. Budde, 82, Route 2, died Tuesday afternoon at the Valley Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 16.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Evangelical Covenant Church, the Rev. Richard P. Rabine officiating. Burial will be in Kerns-Oak Grove Cemetery, Belgrade Township.
Visitation will be at Johnson-Boman Mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church an hour before services. Memorials to the church are preferred.
Mr. Budde was born Feb. 1, 1894, in Belgrade Township, where he lived all his life and farmed until retiring. He married Caroline Fritsch on Aug. 30, 1928, in Huntley, ILL.
Survivors include his wife; four brothers, Garrett, Eward and Ira, all of Route 2, and Frank of Granite Falls, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Trask and Evelyn Eichelman."
