Mrs. Mary Easterday died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Busby, February 1, at the age of 85 years. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Trushel and was born December 19, 1834. She was married in September, 1855, to David B. Easterday, to which union were born six children: Martha M. McDevitt of New Philadelphia, William V. Easterday of Leesville, Samuel S. Easterday of Sherrodsville, Margaret A. Busby of Cadiz, John B. Easterday, deceased, and Mary E. Busler, deceased. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Rebecca, Lydia, Jacob, Margaret, Belinda, Sarah and Caroline. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Bowerston, having joined in early girlhood.
