Funeral of George S. Austin, 81, of 1941 So. 23rd, who died Monday, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Roper & Sons, 4300 O St., the Rev. W. N. Smitheram officiating. Lincoln Memorial Park.
Born at Dwight, Ill., he was in the real estate, grain and banking business for 49 years at Orleans. He had lived in Lincoln 11 years and in Nebraska since 1892 and was a member of Masonic Lodge of Orleans.
Survivors: wife, Bessie; daughters, Frances E. Austin of Lincoln, Elsie J. Austin of Walla Walla, Wash. sons, George S. Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, James B. of Walla Walla, Ben R. of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Blanche M. Austin of Lincoln, Maude G. Austin of Lincoln; 5 grandchildren.
