Katie Boling Ashe, 107, of Strayhorn, MS died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Senatobia Convalescent Center. Ms. Ashe was a member of Strayhorn Baptist Church. Services were held Tuesday, March 27 at C. O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia with interment in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia, MS. Pallbearers were Sammy Ashe, Bob Key, David Laughlin, Danny Smith, Leroy Howe, Jack Houston and Scott Ashe. Rev. Gary Black officiated.

Ms. Ashe was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Ashe. She is survived by one daughter, Laura Laughlin of Calhoun City, MS; two sons, Howard Ashe of Bakersfield, CA and Harvey Ashe of Tunica, MS; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
