LANDRUM, SC - Helen Phillips Crain, 77, widow of Samuel Wilson Crain Sr., of 108 North Reid Road, died Sunday, December 8, 2002, at National Health Care.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Lucien K. and Marie Moon Phillips. Member: Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors: Sons, Samuel W. Crain Jr. of Greenville and Phillip M. Crain of Landrum; brothers, Ken Phillips of Gastonia, North Carolina, and James Phillips of Texas; a sister, Pat Josey, of Panama City, Florida; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: 6:30 to 8 tonight, at Petty Funeral Home. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
