Jo Ann Boice passed away on February 2, 2021 in Naples Florida. She was born to Cuthbert and Corra Lowery in Atlanta, Georgia. Although raised in Georgia, her family roots were always in South Alabama. She became a legendary Army wife, living in three countries, a revered mother and grandmother. Acting in key responsibilities, she had an uncanny ability to organize and execute activities involving thousands, giving speeches in both English and German, all the while maintaining an efficient loving and charismatic approach to being a mother, grandmother and statesman representing her country, her organization and her family. But at heart she was a southern girl who never lost her southern charm. Possessed of an amazing sense of humor and wit, she was very charismatic and impacted those around her in a joyous and happy way.
She is survived by her husband, Craig; two children, David and Kimberly and 5 amazing granddaughters, Brittani, Anna, Morgan, Kalianne and Mackenzie.
We will miss her deeply and with great sorrow.
Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
