NEWCASTLE, Ind. September 15 - Mrs. Sarah Compton, age eighty-one, is dead here at the home of a son, James Compton. Mrs. Compton was a pioneer of Henry county. She was the widow of Calvin Compton. Four children, James Compton, L. A. Compton, of Newcastle; John L. Compton of Lewisville, and Mrs. R. L. Spencer, of Marion, survive.
