Marcelene was born December, 13, 1950, the daughter of Paul B and Wilma Jean LeMaster. She attended Muncie Central High School and lived in Delaware County most of her life.
Our mother aka "Nanny", wife, sister, aunt was a kind, loving and generous person. She loved playing bingo, watching Hallmark shows, dancing, being silly and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the best cook and we will pass on Nanny's famous potato candy recipe that we all loved!
Marcelene is survived by so many that loved her:
Husband, Monte L. Masters, who was her high school sweetheart of over 50 years; Son, Randall Masters (Stacy); Daughter, Teena Stevenson (Mike); Brother, Paul C. LeMaster (Sandy); Sister-n-law, Vicki Vorhees; Amy Masters Padgett (Monte);
Grandchildren-Madalynn Masters, Mallory Masters, Amanda Stevenson, Sarah Stevenson, Joshua Stevenson, Courtney Masters, Bailey Masters, Whitney Fieler (Chase).
Nieces and Nephews-Tamara, Jason, Alayna, Charlie, Tiffany, Sundai, Brien, Jimmy, Greg, Jeff, Melissa
Special friends that hold a special place in her heart-Wavy, Susie, Red, Beverly, Mary Jo, Becky and so many others.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Paul B and Wilma Jean LeMaster; son, Monte L. Masters, Jr; Brothers Gary and Larry LeMaster.
A quote that reminds us of our mother, "May Love be What you remember most."
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Morrow Meadows Park in Yorktown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, 5910 Homestead Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46814. Our family would like to give a special thanks to this facility. They truly are an amazing place for a loved one in their final days.
Condolences/cards can be mailed to: Monte Masters, 356 N 11th Street, Decatur, IN 46733.
"It is not goodbye … It is see you later."
