Dixie Braswell Hall, 94, went to her heavenly home Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro with her family by her side. She is now shouting on the streets of glory where she longed to be.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Hall was born in Johnston County on May 21, 1923 to the late Nelson and Mary Jane Fleming Braswell. She was a faithful member of Clingman Street Church of God where she saw the Lord move and bless the church to grow to its current place of worship, Goldsboro Worship Center. She will forever be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Hall; her son, Garry Hall of Newport; two daughters, Juanita W. Peterson and husband, Roger of Faison and Dorothy W. Herring and husband, Durwood of Florida; her daughter-in-law, Linda Woodard of Goldsboro; son-in-law, Jim Allen of Swansboro; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Woodard; one daughter, Sally Jane Allen; five brothers, Joe Braswell, Merlin Braswell, Wilton Braswell, Fete Braswell and Clarence Braswell; two sisters, Rose Worley and Resser Pilkington and one grandson.
