Funeral services for W. L. Wright were held on Sunday, November 13 at 2:30 at the West Baptist Church, with Rev. L.D. Wall, Rev. David Rhea, and Rev. Curtis Ellis officiating. Interment was in the West cemetery.
Mr. Wright was a beloved citizen on West, who passed away on Friday, November 11. He was an active memeber of the West Baptist Church.
He is survived by; his wife, Mrs. Corinne Brock Wright; one daughter Mrs. Robert Wallace of Kirkwood, Mo,; two sons, Reed Wright of Memphis and Charles Wright of West; four sisters, Mrs. E.R. Prigmore of Charleston, Miss Lovie Wright of Vaiden Mrs. P.A. McKinstry of Birmingham, and Mrs. J.F. Fullilove of Vaiden.
Pallbearers were; R.L. Jackson, Ben Weaver, J.C. Alexander, George Musselwhite, L.R. Browning, W.B. Johnson, H.L. Bouchillon, H.L. Bowie.
