Agnes (Hess) Toone, age 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Clay Center, Kansas, on October 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Susan M. (O'Donnell) Hess.
Mrs. Toone was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and knitting. She had been a resident of Little Rock for eight years and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Mrs. Toone is survived by her husband, Thomas O. Toone of Little Rock; one son, William Toone of Seymore, Missouri; four daughters, Susan Toone of Little Rock, Barbara Kohutiak of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Mary Perri of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, and Patricia Gladden of Evanston, Illinois; ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Toone is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Monsignor Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Arrangements: Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc., Heber Springs.
