Lifelong resident of Porterville, Ca. Paul passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Paul was 85 years old. Born in Tulare, Ca on January 9, 1936.
His parents raised their son Paul along with 1 brother and 3 sisters. He worked hard from a very young age and attended Woodville Elementary School and Porterville High School.. During his attendance at Woodville Elementary School. Paul was very athletic in sports. He loved and played baseball and basketball.. Earning his jacket sport letter for Woodville Elementary School.. Considering Paul was born with 1 arm he was an amazing man having seen him play sports.. His motto was "life is a challenge and all is possible with 1 or 2 arms." Paul didn't finish high school as he chose to work for his father business as a labor contractor.
Paul then met his wife of 63 years Lupe Rodriguez Adame and began their journey in life together with plans on a family and dreams of building a home or a ranch. They began their family in 1960 and had 2 sons and 4 daughters. Paul was first and foremost a family man. He was very proud of his family. He made many sacrifices in order to provide every opportunity for their success. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A solid rock and great role model in every aspect. He was a matriarch of his family. The pride Paul took in his ceaseless hard work was displayed when he would talk about how he always had a job and worked to support his growing family.
Paul was self employed for over 25 years as a farm labor contractor and loved and took pride in this work . Considering he had only 1 arm that was never an issue for him. Paul was a natural farmer and loved to work on his ranch that he diligently built on his own. He was especially knowledgeable with growing and grafting fruit trees.
He loved to tell stories about growing up in the old country and had a wonderful sense of humor and a sweet gentle nature. Paul enjoyed family gatherings and making memorable times with all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. He always prioritized his children about respect, trustworthiness, responsibility and being faithful. Paul built his faith with his wife and family and was a devout catholic and a member of St Anne's Catholic Church. Paul was a character of humor. He was very friendly and sociable. He loved everyone and always said "Hi" to everyone.
Paul was preceded in death by his children Ruben and Carolina, his parents Angel & Juanita and brother Frank Adame.
Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years Lupe and son Robert Adame, daughters, Margie Adame, Carolina Adame & Patricia Ojeda. 16 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Paul will dearly be missed... Visitation & Rosary will be Thursday Feb. 11, 2021 at Porterville Funeral, 3-7PM Porterville Ca. Burial will be Friday Feb. 12, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery at 11AM Porterville Ca.
