Alice Lucille Rodgers was the daughter of William Franklin Rodgers and Luna R. Collins. She married Percy Herbert McCoy and they had two children.


OBIT: Mrs. Alice Lucille McCoy, 95, of Winona, died of heart failure Saturday, May 24, 1997, at her residence near Winona.

Mrs. McCoy was a homemaker and the widow of the late Percy H. McCoy. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at New Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Ballard officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McCoy is survived by one daughter, Eleanor M. Parker of Winona; one son, William H. McCoy of Winona; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James Biggers, Thomas Johnson, Tommy Herod, James Edward Howard, Charles Blaylock and William Travis Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers were Leroy Mills, Charles Osborne and Bodean Tompkins.

Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
