Mr. John M. Thomas died at his home near Hemp, Stafford county, Wednesday evening, of cancer, aged 55 years.
Besides his wife and eight year old child, he is survived by one brother, Mr. W. H. Thomas; two half-brothers, Messrs. J. W. and Alfred Thomas, and one half-sister, Mrs. Chas. Bragdon, all of this city. Mr. Thomas was well known in this city, having been in business here for a number of years.
Funeral from Hartwood church, Stafford county, Friday at 2 o'clock. Interment in the church burying ground.
