Daughter of Frederick William Delger and Ernestina Blücher.

Her birth name was Anne or Anna. She married William Moller on May 21, 1873 at a Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Germany. Annie had met William in 1872 before her parents escorted her to finishing school in Germany. The Delgers had stopped in New York where they called on the Mollers, a German couple that they had met on a previous voyage to Germany. William Moller claimed that he took one look at Annie and fell in love. Both parents approved of the match. However, the wedding did not take place until Annie spent the next year at finishing school in Germany. The wedding guests consisted primarily of Moller relatives who had strong German links. Following the death of their first born child Anna Adelaide 'Addie' in New York, William took Annie for a visit to California for a change in climate. Once there, Annie convinced William to stay. They were the parents of 10 children, 9 surviving to adulthood. Their oldest surviving daughter was Dr Lillian Moller Gilbreth the mother in "Cheaper by the Dozen" and a noted industrial psychologist and engineer.
