Cuba Zell (Cupie) Robertson at age 83 passed away in her home on January 24, 2021. She was born in Binger, Oklahoma and moved to California at the age of 13. She settled in Stockton where she met and married James Charles (Jimmy) Robertson whom she shared five children with. Cupie's dream was to become a pediatric nurse but instead chose to fulfill her love for her children by facilitating an in-home daycare service for 20+ years – which gave her the opportunity to devote more of her time to her children and grandchildren. She had a kind and compassionate soul with a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. She placed morals on a very high standard and made sure to pass those characteristics along to all of her children. Cupie cherished life and chose to live hers with a optimistic outlook no matter what challenges she had faced. Her legacy lives on. She will be greatly missed by many.

She survived by her children-Eddie Earp, Donna Johnson, Diane Robertson, Keith Robertson, James Robertson (Christy Robertson), and Brandon Robertson and grandchildren Jessica Carter, Amanda Carter, Jeremy Carter, Ashley Johnson, Chelsea Johnson, Brandon Robertson and several great grand children

She is preceded by her mother Ruby Minton, Frank Earp, and step father Raleigh Minton
