DALLAS — Clara Maier Dowell, 82, of 527 Dallas-Spencer Mountain Road, died Oct. 11, 2007, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Frank L. and Ardella Mullinax Maier.
FUNERAL: 4 p.m. Saturday, The Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia
INTERMENT: Hollywood Cemetery
She was retired from Burlington Ind., Ranlo, after 29 years of service.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Janice Payne, Alexis, Janet Beavers and husband Max, Dallas; son in law, Jr. Garland, Dallas; brother, Frank Maier Jr. and wife Sue of Dallas; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren
