Their uncle, George Washington Wolf, took four of the children. Their aunt, Amanda Wolf Tinnin, took James Madison. Jacob H. Wolf went to live with his grandfather, Major Jacob Wolf. It is not exactly known what happened to the tiny baby, Lorenzo Wolf. He cannot be traced to adulthood. The sister Mary Jane did end up in Texas where she married, but nothing else is known of her.
Jacob H. went to Texas to visit family member who had moved there with the Adams Wagon Train about 1867. Thus he met his soon to be wife, Sarah Jane Patterson, there.
His uncle, George Washington Wolf did move to Texas along with the aunt, Amanda Wolf Tinnin. With this family connection in Texas it is understood why his three brothers returned to Texas to live after all serving in the AR CSA.
After serving Baxter County, Arkansas as sheriff for several years, Jacob H. and his family left Baxter County on the train and moved to Chandler, OK where Jacob H. lived out his life and is buried in the Oak Park Cemetery along with other family members.
Several of the memorials to these family members were created by others and not owned by me. Thus I am not elgible to add biographical material to them or make the proper family links. I am showing their relationship so that you cam make the proper connection to their ancestors in the Old Wolf Cemetery in Norfork, AR.
Children: Tandy T., Milas H., and Baby Girl Wolf all died very young. Tandy died while his mother was back in Texas visiting her family so he is buried there. The other babies were buried in Baxter County Arkansas.
