Donald Edward Poindexter age 81, of Avon, passed away on February 3, 2021 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville. He was born on June 1, 1939 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Archie and Lula Anderson Poindexter. He was a job setter for Allison's for 30+ years retiring in 1992. Donald was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Avon and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his sons: Shawn Poindexter and Kevin Poindexter. Daughter in law: Teresa Brown. Sister: Connie Masters. Grandchildren: Karen Worland, Kyle Poindexter, Tyler Poindexter, Bryce Poindexter and Brett Poindexter. Greatgrandchildren: Nekoda Worland and AnnaBelle Worland. Niece: Ashley Roy.
