Debra M. “Deb” Bestreski, 52 of Toms River, NJ left us on the 3rd of February 2021.
Deb was born in Red Bank on the 11th of March 1968. Deb graduated from Middletown South High School and attended college at Brookdale Community College. She was married to Scott A. Bestreski, for nearly 30 years.
Deb had a lengthy tenure of 20+ years with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and later began to contract with independent companies as a Technical Analyst and Medical Coder. Deb was highly involved in her community, was loving and caring to all, with a heart for others. Deb was a passionate animal advocate, with a deeper love for horses, dogs and cats. Deb’s favorite time of year was the Christmas season. Her passion for decorating and entertaining led to her annual Christmas party, which was the highlight of her year and enjoyed by all. She was also very family oriented and loved her children and their wives deeply.
Debra was survived by her husband, Scott Bestreski, her eldest son, Franklyn Haviland, his wife Jessica Haviland and her youngest son, Scott Bestreski Jr., his wife Nicole Bestreski.
Visiting will be held at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ. Funeral services will be at the funeral home. Entombment will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
