Obituary for Virgle Argus Acord
Virgle Argus Acord, born April 17, 1932, died January 12, 2021 in Oologah, Oklahoma at the age of 88.

He was born in Stidham, Oklahoma to Oliver and Molly Acord. He was the youngest of nine children. On November 10, 1949 Virgle married Lucille Florence Satterwhite in Vinita, Oklahoma. They had two daughters, Brenda and Cleta while living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1973 Virgle and Lucille moved to Oologah, Oklahoma. Virgile worked for Nelson's Electric for 27 years before retiring in 1995.

Virgle loved woodworking, making jewelry and tinkering with things. If it was broken, he could fix it. If he couldn't fix it, he would build you a new one. One of Virgle's favorite pastimes was planting a large garden and sharing his bountiful crops with everyone. He enjoyed making salsa.

Virgle is survived by his daughter Brenda Loyd and her husband Gary of Talala, Oklahoma and his sister Ethel Tucker of Gary, Indiana. Grandchildren Ronnie Ewert and his wife Angela, Charisma Schrader and her husband Jerry, James Wilkerson, Cody Roberston and Casey Robertson, great- grandchildren Nathan Carter, Caleb Ewert, Blaize Schrader, Collin Schrader, Emma Wilkerson, Mary Neely, Greg Wilkerson, Raiden Robertson, and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, his daughter Cleta Marie Robertson, his parents Oliver and Molly and his 7 other siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Oologah Assembly of God Church on January 19, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah, Oklahoma.
