Mrs. Myrtle E. Devine, 79, of Winona, died of heart failure Tuesday, July 15, 1997 at Grandview Nursing Home in Grenada. Mrs. Devine, a housewife, was the widow of the late Edward Noel Devine.
She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at Oliver Chapel with the Rev. W. M. Hull officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery near Winona.
Mrs. Devine is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Paris of Knobnoster, MO, Mrs. Minnie Frances Poole of Baltimore; one brother, Leslie B. Rodgers, of Coffeeville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Doyle Rodgers, Roy Rodgers, Mike Bartlett, Jay Bartlett, Kenneth Rodgers, and Keith Stevens.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
