DONALD E. WILLMES A longtime resident of San Leandro passed away December 19, 2001 in Hayward. Dearly beloved husband of Angeline Willmes for 57 years. Loving father of Daniel Willmes of Placerville; Rusty Willmes of San Leandro; Ken Willmes of Brentwood; Barbara Davis of Tracy; Julie Willmes of Corona; and Peggy Willmes of San Francisco. Dear brother of Marvin Willmes of Coulterville; Mike Willmes of San Leandro; Gerald Willmes of Anderson; Ed Willmes of Hayward; Liz Stangl of San Diego; and Patricia Lendahl of Hayward. Devoted grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of five. WWII Army Veteran. He loved woodworking and gardening. A native of Nebraska. Age 77 years.
