Dennis Martin Weis, 67, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at 9:43 p.m. in Nashville, TN due to unforeseen circumstances with his loving family by his side. There is no burial service scheduled now till further notice by his Granddaughter/Caregiver Kala Dominy.
Dennis was born May 12, 1950 to Alois and Loretta Weis. Dennis served two years in the army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis started working for GM at an early age and then retired from there. Dennis and Barbara Weis were married July 10,1981, in Wisconsin.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Cyril and Donna Weis, Kenneth and Sheila Weis, Raymond and Sue Weis, James and Barbara Weis, Jerold and Mary Weis, Dorothy and Robert Ertl, Rosetta (Weis) Sebastian, Jeanette (Weis) Burzynski. Dennis is further survived by, Granddaughter/ Caregiver Kala Dominy, Jody(Weis) John Good, Jammie Johnson Coulter, Joseph Harwick (Carrie), and Kristine Hoyt. He was blessed with many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, God Children, Nieces, and Nephews who all enjoyed Dennis's smile, his laughter, his sense of humor and loving care.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara E. Weis, on June 5, 2010. Also preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Loretta Weis, and a few family members Herman and Anna (Weis) Weigel, Roger and Mildred(Weis) Maguire, Catherine Weis, John Weis and two brothers-in-law, Ralph Burzynski and Norman Sebastian.
