He was born in Gjulaves, Yugoslavia and was the son of the late Ferdinand and Anna Fuchs.
Karl was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, Class of 1961.
He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church.
Karl was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Supervisor.
Karl was a member of the Perry County Historical Society and Life Member of West Hanover Genealogical Society. He enjoyed spending time keeping records of various cemeteries and helping others with their genealogical search. He was a past member of the Twin Brooks Horse Show Association.
He was one of the first male Girl Scouts Leaders from Holy Name of Jesus and volunteered in many projects over the years.
Karl dearly loved his family and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years: Dottie Fox; his daughters: Karla (David) Mitchell of North Carolina and Diane (Bryan) Brown of Harrisburg; his grandsons: Jon Way, Karl (Ashley) Way and Travis Way; his three step-granddaughters; his five step-great-grandchildren; his sister: Sylvia Engle of Mechanicsburg; his brother: Alfred (Patricia) Fuchs of Camp Hill; and, his nieces and nephews.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
