December 19, 1926 ~ December 29, 2020 (age 94)

On December 29, 2020, Mary Thelma Collins (nee Beatty) passed at the age of 94.

Born the daughter of Joseph and Mary (nee Gerhart) in the Baltimore area, she would come to live in Linthicum, Millersville and eventually Severna Park.

The wife of the late Earl Collins, Thelma spent 69 blessed years in matrimony before Earl's passing in 2013. Thelma was an avid member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed having fun with the gals. She was a skilled gardener and was proficient in the art of ceramics, indeed making many cherished gifts for those she knew and loved. In all, Thelma's "first priority in life," was an absolute dedication to her family. An altruistic and selfless woman, Thelma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will live on in the cherished memories and life lessons she passed on to her friends and family.

Surviving Thelma are her children, loving daughter, Linda Williams and husband David Williams, and devoted son, "Bobby" Collins. She is preceded in death by her daughter Joanne Anderson and husband William Anderson. She will be dearly cherished in the memories of her grandchildren, Angela Schmidt and husband Brian Schmidt, Samantha Winkler and husband Christopher Winkler, and Tara Benton and husband Joey Benton. Her presence will be sorely missed by her great-grandchildren Sarah Kelble and Abigail Kelble, Theodore Boothe, Alexander Winkler, Emma Benton and Isabella Asher as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Her absence will be noted by Sandi Collins, former daughter-in-law and dear family friend.

Thelma joins in passing her beloved husband, Earl Collins, daughter, Joanne Anderson and husband William Anderson, granddaughter, Vanessa Asher and husband Stacey Asher, 5 siblings of which she was the last and many beloved friends. She may Rest in Peace as she has been united once again with those that she missed so dearly.
