Arthur Gene Stehle, age 82, of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2020.
He was born in Rosenberg, Texas on January 24, 1938. Arthur graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School and continued to receive an Associate Degree in Accounting from Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas. Arthur met the love of his life, Jackie Freudensprung, and they married on June 13, 1959 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, Texas. Arthur retired as an accountant from Monsanto Chemical Company where he worked for 30 years.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, Arthur loved traveling with his wife and his favorite traveling buddies, Billy and Linda Struckmeyer. He also enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, solving Sudoku puzzles, and playing a round of 42 with his church brothers. He was also actively involved in Brothers in Christ, and many other activities of the Alvin Lutheran Church where he was a member for many years and loved his church family. He has touched so many lives with his love and passion for life.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Jackie Freudensprung Stehle; his daughter, Kimberly Stehle Walker; his two sons, Gregory and Patrick Stehle; and other family and friends.
Arthur is preceded in death by his father, John Stehle; mother, Lillian Vogler Stehle; and his sister, Laverne Stehle Oberhoff.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for family and friends will be held on February 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1208 Fifth Street, Rosenberg, Texas.
