Zelma Jean Jeanes, age 88, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Hope, Arkansas. She was born January 24, 1933 in Hope to Greene and Nannie Ramsey Golden.

Zelma was a loving homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings, one son, Lonnie Brown; one daughter, Charlotte Lamb Parks; and one grandson, Larry Brown Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Larry and Sherry Brown of Hope, AR, Dennis and Paula Brown of Mena, AR, Terry and Nancy Brown of Friendship, AR; one daughter, Judy Brown Harris of Hope, AR; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday, February 5, 2021 at Evening Shade Cemetery in Hope with Bro. Larry Brown officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.
