Born April 12, 1956 in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Joyce (Foster) Forscht.
Carl was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was an Information Technology Specialist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Labor and Industry.
Carl liked to watch movies, target shooting, loved genealogy, family history, and building model airplanes.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his infant brother: Galen Paul Forscht.
Carl is survived by his daughter: Jillian Forscht, Carlisle; his son: Christopher (Courtney) Forscht, Mt. Holly Springs; his granddaughter: Leah Forscht, Carlisle; his sister: Susan (Jeffrey) Rains, Havertown; his nephew: Ian Rains, Havertown; and his ex-wife: Diane Forscht, Dillsburg.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Carl will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
