Carlie G. Johnson, 78, of Columbus, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1:50 P.M. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Carlie was born on January 21, 1943 in Moss, Tennessee the son of George B. and Semmie B. Moore Johnson. He was a remodeling contractor.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Rusk of Monticello, Indiana, Charlie (Sherry) Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and siblings, Junior (Evelyn) Johnson of Sharpsville, Deloris Tays of Greensburg, Rosie Clayton of Clarksville, Tennessee, Lester (Linda) Johnson Greensburg, Anna Rode of Noblesville, Indiana, and Linda (Kenneth) Edmondson of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cynthia Johnson; son, Robert Johnson and brothers, Jack, Elmer, James, and Harlie Johnson.
In keeping with Mr. Johnson's wishes cremation will take place and there are no services at this time.
