(1913-1985)
Vanceburg, Ky. - Harlen E. Corns, 72, of Garrison, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital.
A Charters, Ky., native, he was retired from Stolle Co. of Sidney, and an Army veteran in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Lewis Corns; three daughters, Alice Stone and Barbara Hodge, both of Garrison, and Linda Rowland of Bucyrus, Ohio; three sons, Charles Corns of New Carlisle, Ohio, Larry Edward Corns of Bucyrus, and Gary Lee Corns of Garrison; two brothers, Raymond of Garrison and Roy of Hillsboro, Ohio; two sisters, Bernice Pressley and Frances Ginn, both of Vanceburg; 15 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Services is to be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dickerson Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Barbara Hesley officiating. Interment is to be in Howard Cemetery at Tanner. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
