Robert H. Hill III, 75, of Jarrell, Texas, was born September 30, 1945 in Austin, Texas to Robert H. Hill, Jr. and Woodie Mae (Peaches) Hill.

In 1964, he met the love of his life, Annette Warden. Her parents, D.A. and Mary Warden only allowed one date a week except for church. As a result, within the year, Robert accepted the most important love of his life, Jesus Christ. Robert was baptized in 1965 at Ridgetop Baptist Church in Austin. He later married Annette on November 24, 1966. He remained dedicated to those two loves for the rest of his life.

He had the privilege of meeting Jesus face to face, January 28, 2021.

Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Annette; his sister Lu Ann Sanders of Tomball; sister-in-law Paula Warden of Jarrell; sons Robert Hill IV (Bobby) and wife Joy; Doug Hill and wife Leesa; Danny Hill and wife Nikole; daughter Jennifer Rountree and husband Jamie all of Jarrell. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren; Morgan Wimberly and husband Kendell; Meagan Buckley and husband Josh; Robert Hill V (Beau); Ty Hill; Baylee Hill; Callie Messmer and husband Gerry; Kindell Hill; Tate Hill; Chance Hill; Faith Arnold; Mikaela Henry and husband Austin; Hope Arnold; and Ashlynn Rountree. He was also blessed with 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was known for his work ethic, distinct laugh, honesty, and a servants heart. Robert and Annette worked together at D.A. Warden Co. Inc. for many years where they sold air conditioning supplies and were given daily opportunities to share Christ's love. Robert worked beside his wife and four children where he not only taught them how to physically work hard, but the importance of working hard at their marriage, for their families, and most importantly for Jesus Christ.

Robert was active in every church he was a member of. He had the privilege of being a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church in Jarrell where he was called to be a willing servant because of his love for Christ. Robert loved to tell people about Jesus and this continued until he wasn't physically able, just days before he met his Savior Jesus Christ.

Due to Covid, the family will be having a private graveside service February 6, 2021 and they would appreciate your prayers.

A public memorial will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the Hill family requests memorial donations be made to New Hope Baptist Church, P.O. Box 377, Jarrell, Texas, 76537.
