Linda attended school for a short time in Blair, then to Lone Wolf where she graduated. After graduation she attended Business School in Oklahoma City and after completion she began working for the Department of Public Safety. Linda had a long career with the DPS, retiring after thirty plus years of service as supervisor of payroll. She could not sit idle for long and began working for the Highway Patrol Credit Union for many years. Linda continued working for as long as she could and took a part time job with the Department of Agriculture. She enjoyed reading, was an avid OU fan and Linda loved to fish and camp.
She is survived by her two brothers: Paul Davis and wife Linda of Chelsea, Oklahoma and Gary Davis and wife Stephane of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. One uncle, Larry Phillips of Roosevelt, nephews James and Timothy Davis, Brad Davis and nieces Bobbie Beirne and Candance Nelson. Linda is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Memorial Services for Linda are scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M., in the Hobart Rose Cemetery with Pastor Sue Merritt officiating.
