Alice Etna Golden passed peacefully in Richmond on Sunday, 31 January 2021. She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney "Sid" Junior Golden; and her parents, Lawrence and Rachel Mays.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Satterfield and her children, Kenny (Francie), J.E. (Rhonda), Al (Dan), and Anita (Duane). Her grandchildren include: CAPT Tara S. Golden, USNR, Erica Golden, Austin Golden, Frank Jones (Caitlin), and Kendall Jones. Her great grandchildren are Cali Jones and Kori Jones. In addition, there are numerous nieces and nephews.

Etna was particularly proud of being the Valedictorian of Manchester High School where she met her husband of 64 years. Her favorite hobbies included a specialized doll collection, sewing, and arts and crafts. Her sewing skills produced various award winning costumes for her children for many years.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions services will be private.
