OPAL LARSEN, 83, 501 Old Highway 441, Mount Dora, died Tuesday, Aug. S. Mrs. Larsen was the owner of Opal's Dress Shops in New Smyrna Beach and Orange City. Born in Frenchburg, Ky., she moved to Central Florida in 1920. She was a member of New Smyrna First Baptist Church and a member and past music director of First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. She was a member of the Florida Fireman's Auxiliary, Daughters of the Nile, Shnnettes, and past worthy matron for the Order of the Eastern Star in Mount Dora and New Smyrna. Survivors: daughter, Lestina Colby, Chicago; three grandchildren; one great-grandson. Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, Mount Dora.
