She was born Dec. 14, 1915, in Coraopolis, Pa., daughter of the late William and Cornelia Buckley Meriman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Auch; one son, Dennis Auch; and an infant sister.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Judy) Auch of Williamstown, W.Va. and Ronald (Carole) Auch of Steubenville; one sister, Annamae Atwell of Mingo Junction; one cousin, George "Bud" Luster (Sally) of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren, Jonathon Auch, Laurel Joy, Emily Martin, Natalie Auch and Nadia Auch; and six great-grandchildren.
Cornelia worked for many years in the office at the former Hub Department Store and was a member of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church and the Women's Auxiliary of the Pleasant Hill Fire Department.
Calling hours are Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
