Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie M. Burton, 74, of Zachary, will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold. Graveside services will be immediately after at Page Cemetery in Castor. Officiating will be the Rev. Ron Lowery. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 14, at Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mrs. Burton was born March 18, 1933, in Shongaloo and passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, in Baton Rouge after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Burton, of Zachary; son, Larry Burton, of Zachary; daughter, Lisa Colwell, of Baton Rouge; brothers, John Robert Bailey, of Oil City and Cecil Bailey, of Emerson, Ark.; sisters, Mattie Kauffman, of Corsicana, Texas and Ada Nell Long, of Arnauldville; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
