Jay F. Brandt, 88, of Kilgore, an oil producer and fruit farm operator, died Monday in Aultman Hospital. He was a member of Kilgore Presbyterian Church. His wife, Mrs. Helen (Richards) Brandt, died in September 1964. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Winifred) Kinsey of Stow and Mrs. Wilbur (Geraldine) Lahr of Canton; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Jones of Amsterdam and Mrs. Gertrude Wallace of Toronto; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are at 1:30 p.m. this Thursday in the Sweeney Funeral Home at Amsterdam. Burial will be in Kilgore cemetery.
