Charley Masters of 418 W. Spring Street, Weatherford, died Saturday afternoon after a lenghty illness.
He was born Oct 12, 1889,in Comanche County and was raised in Fisher County.
A former resident of Welch, Masters owned and operated a grocery store there.
He moved to Parker County in 1948, where he owned and operated a dairy until his retirement eight years ago.
Surviving are; his wife Etta; one daugher Mrs. Hardy Miller of Dallas; one brother, Tom Masters of Abilene.
Funeral services were to be held 10 a.m. Monday in the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Johnson and the Rev. Ken Cuppett officiating.
Burial was in the Memory Garden of the Valley.
Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
