Clifford Carl Creek Jr. was born in Blue Springs, Gage County, Nebraska to Clifford and Agnes Zugmier Creek. Clifford was the oldest of four children. He was a graduate of Wymore High School, Wymore, Nebraska. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 23 years of service and from Amsec as a Program Manager after 25 years. Clifford received a bachelor degree from St. Leo College and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church . He was an avid golfer once making a hole in one on the 17th hole at Red Wing Course.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Terri Ann Creek; 3 children, Christina Laslo, Tammy Taylor and husband Mike Taylor, Corey Creek and wife Lillian Blair; 6 grandchildren, Mirissa Manley and husband Court, Sean Laslo, Kassandra "KC" Taylor, Tamara Darragh-Taylor, Daniel Blair and Genevieve Blair; 3 sisters, Roberta Nelson, Sharon DeLeon and Karon Phelps and husband Rusty; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his sisters, he is survived by in-laws and many nieces and nephews on his wife's side.
A memorial service was held March 5, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
