Our beautiful mother and Gran passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the age of 77.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, at Robinson Cemetery, 620 East Stegall Rd., Robinson, TX, with Alan Ritchie officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Cynthia was born on June 20, 1943, in Waco, to Rogers and Pauline Redding. She attended school in Robinson and graduated from Lorena HS.

She met Frank Ewing Lawson in Robinson and they were married on Jan. 12, 1968. They were members of Youngblood Memorial Presbyterian Church in Robinson and Robinson Church of Christ. They were blessed with two children, Teresa Gail Lawson Shaw and Christopher Alan Lawson. She loved her children and never failed to be there for them. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Cynthia will be missed by all of her family and friends. Heaven gained a sweet angel and we are so thankful God blessed us with her.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; brother Forest Redding; sister-in-law, Marsha Redding; step-father, Everett Cleal; brother John Cleal; Sister-in-law Rose Parker and husband Weldon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Troy and Reba Lawson; nephews, Rogers Redding, Brett Redding; and niece, Catherine Redding.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Shaw, Jerry; son, Chris Lawson, Zon; grandchildren, Kyle Randolph, Caroline; Jaclyn Randolph, Tiffani; Jessica Shaw, Hayden; Kelly Shaw, Janna Shaw, Sam Lawson, Zechariah Shreve; great-grandchildren, Lucy, and Winnie Randolph; Kirby Brown; brother, Neil Redding, sister-in-law, Sally Redding; sister-in-law, Judy Cleal; special friend, Sharon Blankenstein; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
